Hi Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a nice dinner then my daughter & I went shopping. It was fun! I really like Black Friday shopping. Of course, I avoid Walmart. That place can get CRAZY!

I made these for the Christmas Love Campaign and gave them away when I was out shopping today.

Have a GREAT WEEK!

More Issac

Hi everyone!

I really love Snow Peep Isaac. He's just too CUTE!

A little coloring with Sharpies, a little shine with Colorbox Smooch, and some Christmas washi from Michaels.

I hope everyone is shopping Unity's Brown Thursday Sale. A few things already hopped in my cart!

I wish you all a
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

A challenging challenge

I saw the post on the 7 GYPSIES blog for a vintage Christmas challenge. I wasn't going to enter because I have very little 7 GYPSIES. What little I do have is not Christmas. I really wanted to enter so I gathered up what I had and started thinking and searching the web. I saw the 3d paper stars and decided to give it a try. These are the end result.

I used the 7GYPSIES Very Beautiful music & script stamps on 3 of them and the other 4 are paper scraps. A few gems, some metallic Smooch ink, and fibers and I now have some star ornaments.
Won't they look pretty on my Christmas tree?

Something different

Hi Everyone!

Did you see the post on the Graphic 45 blog?

These were made by Miranda.

Aren't they BEAUTIFUL?

I decided I needed to make one. I made dream catchers for my kids when they were little but nothing like these. The search began to find metal rings. It took awhile but I found them. Mine are a lot smaller than these ones.

I used stamps from two KOMs, watercolors, Offray ribbon, and embroidery floss.

Have a great week!

Handmade Gifts

For the Hand-Made Christmas challenge at Susan K. Weckesser's blog I made wristers for my niece.
Last year I made myself a shawl with matching wristers. My sister kept saying it was an "old lady shawl". That was until she was in town and realized how warm it was. She wanted me to make her one! She now has her own "old lady shawl". The wristers I made were a big hit and that led me to making lots of them. I lost count on how many set I made. The one I didn't make though, was for my niece. When I saw this challenge I knew I had to make her wristers.

I used Lion Brand homespun yarn for the shawls and wristers. It sooooo soft and warm!

Christmas Love Campaign

I've been wanting to make something for the Susan K. Weckesser Christmas Love Campaign. It's such a great idea! I decided to make some cards to give to strangers.

Both cards use Unity stamps.

I'll be back with another project soon :)

I took the angel cards to the local Dollar Tree and dropped them in their shopping baskets. The envies said 'open me' so hopefully someone will.

Aunt Julie

Hi Everyone!
I wasn't able to play FWF last week because I was busy. Busy making this....

These are a few of the pages I made for the tribute album I made about my Aunt Julie. She passed away November 1st. She was 82. My family wanted pictures to show at the funeral home. Since I inherited lots of old photos I made the book. I watched as the book was passed around. I listened as people shared stories. It reminded me why scrapbooking, in any form, is important.  I gave the book to my cousin because she was Aunt Julie's Godchild.
RIP Aunt Julie!
