Hi Everyone!
This week's PaperCrafter's Corner challenge is PERFECT for using up a few scraps.
And...here's my take on it....using scraps:
You really should play along. The challenges are fun. Steph even gives you ideas in case you draw a blank. ;) There's even a PRIZE! So, go check it out and I hope to see your creation!
It's been fun making cards using just scraps. Here are a few more:
These are all done using Unity stamps.
I am spending my day redoing scrapbook pages from 1999. I really don't like them at all! Photos cut into shapes, sticker sneeze, poor matting, decorative scissors....You name it, I probably did it. Have you ever redone your early pages? They'll be put into project life pages. Maybe then I can look at them without my eyes bouncing all over the page! The following few years are alright. I won't be redoing those.
******EDITED TO ADD*****
After reading Rachel's comment and looking through my 1999 pages I decided NOT to redo all of them. Just the worst of them. I started scrapbooking to focus on the pictures. On some of my pages the pictures are lost in the colors and 'embellishments'. If the pictures are the focus then they'll stay....and still show the "evolution of our scrapbooks". Thanks Rachel for the reminder. :)

Have a great week!
Love seeing your creations - here and at PCC!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards. Great selection.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear you're redoing the scrapbook pages! I think the terrible colors and stickers are a part of the charm and evolution of our scrapbooks :) I love each of your cards, very beautiful sets!
ReplyDeleteOh yay!!! So happy to hear! I totally understand needing the photos to be a focus. And hey... Redoing less pages means less work for you :) embrace the neoned decorative scissor edges!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to read that you decided not to redo all of your scrapbook pages... I look at my very first ones and they are nothing like what I do now, but it's a process. Very nice cards!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are great -- and may just have inspired me to get my scraps out! I haven't in a while. And I do like the term "sticker sneeze". :D
ReplyDeleteNow that is quite an assortment of creations! They are great!
ReplyDeletescraps are great - it is amazing what we can create with them
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing

Wonderful cards!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of cards! You have been a busy lady and they all look great!
ReplyDeleteI really like your use of scraps. Great set of cards!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely set of cards. I agree with Rachel, it's nice to see how we have evolved.... both personal style and crafting trends.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, the last one is my fave with those fabulous holes punched! I've only ever re-done one page but it was one that I was never happy with and it was a cherished photo. I do look back at some of my pages and cringe but it's also funny to see where I started and where I'm at now.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of scraps on your cards.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. Love the last one. The simple layout and colours are so nice. Hugz
ReplyDeleteGreat projects, way to use your scraps! I think my favorite is the last one - the color combo and design really grab my eye!
ReplyDeleteFun cards and congratulations on winning Paper Crafter's corner blog Magazine Mondays!
