Hi Everyone!
This is week #114 at PaperCrafters Corner!
When I first saw this week's inspiration all I could think was 'what am I going to do with this?'I don't travel anywhere. I could have gone with the colors but I wasn't thrilled with them. I didn't think I was going to enter this week.....until I saw the pattern in the border. I had a Gelli print with that same pattern!
You should give this challenge a try. :)
While I had my Gelli prints out I made 2 more cards.
All the cards use Unity stamps.
I've had a lot of time to create lately. My daughter is away at school, hubby works everyday, and until I have my eye surgery I can't drive. Since I'm home I thought I would show you what happens when I get crafty.
As you can see from the photo I worked on my scrapbook, made some cards, and pulled out way too much!
I started off working on my scrapbooks. The table was fairly clear....at first. When I pocket scrapbook I first put in all the pictures. Then the cards. Then the embellishments. Then the journaling. I really don't like the last step. I used to use my computer for the journaling but my printer decided it doesn't like card stock. So, lately I've been using (GASP) my own handwriting! That's something I didn't think I would EVER do. That's a good thing, right?
Ok, back to the scrapbook for me! This one covers 4 years ('96-'99) and is almost done. Hopefully I won't get too lost in the memories :)
See you next time!!
It is fun to get lost in your memories. Lovely cards. My table top gets that way as well whether I do layouts or cards.
ReplyDeleteI guess we all have the same "cluttered desk" problem when crafting! I sort of have 2 craft rooms (one where most of my stuff is & the other where I actually work) so when I get up from the working desk, I try to bring at least 2-3 things back to the "stuff" room to put it away. lol
ReplyDeleteYour cards are just lovely - love butterflies!
Lovely cards, they look fabulous, creative and unique. Please, don't look at my messy desk.I think I'm the only one that can work in that area!
ReplyDeleteLovely set of cards. The inspiration piece looks fun!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at that inspiration piece before I started commenting. There are all sorts of ways to go with it, but I am totally loving your Gelli print cards!!! It's good to make a mess when you are crafting.....that's what artists do, right??? (I hope....) Thanks for sharing your wonderful cards.
