Whiff of Joy

The link on the side bar will take you to the online store. Take a look!

My nephew's book

I'm making this book for my sister. It's about her son who died in November at the age of 36. Although his death was ruled a suicide, the actual cause should have been mental illness. Ten years ago his "friend " though he needed to relax & have fun. She slipped a dose of ecstasy into his drink. He ended up having a psychotic break. He should have had a happy, full life.

Good news/Bad news

Good news-I get to scrap again! Hubby will be working overtime so I dragged most of my scrapping stuff back to the dining room. I just need to figure out where to put my two carts or some of the stuff that's in them.

Bad news-Living room won't get painted any time soon so we'll still have things in boxes for a while.

Oh well, can't have everything. I'm just happy to get back to scrapping. I got so bored this past week that I actually read the Twilight saga, all 4 books. I did enjoy them though. A good read but a little too much romance for my taste.

Look for some layouts or cards or something from me soon!

Some more ATC's

Here a few more ATC's. They are of my dad, mom, maternal grandfather (Gidu), and maternal grandparents with my aunt & uncle. It's their passport photo. The one of my grandfather needs something but I don't know what. Maybe someone can give me an idea for what to add to it.

Whiff of Joy stamps

The release of the new Whiff of Joy collection is June 14th! The stamps are stunning. They are called Woman's Delight and are about weddings and new babies. They will be available here http://www.whiffofjoy.com/

Some ATC's

I really like making artist trading cards (ATC's). They're usually for artwork but most of mine are like a mini scrapbook. It's a fun way to scrap those wallet sized photos. They fit onto a 7 Gypsies ATC holder that you can see here...http://www.shopatron.com/index/533.0.31531.31536.0.0.0 It can also be seen here...http://sevengypsies.blogspot.com/ 7 Gypsies also makes a photo carousel that I'd love to get eventually. I'll post more soon.

Cards For Heroes

Here are some of the cards I'll be sending out this week. I asked my sister to get her preschool kids to write Any Hero letters too! Hopefully they will. You might recognize some of them from the QVC kit. I even made a few patriotic ones.
